FastAccess is comprised of client software installed on the PC, an inexpensive web camera installed on the PC and mounted above or below the monitor.

In the case of Enterprise installations, a management application is installed on a domain controller. The software on the client can be part of an organization’s standard image and can be automatically distributed to remote PCs via existing software management tools.

Instant Desktop Switching

With the FastAccess Instant Desktop Switching (IDS) a single user account securely utilizes the multi-desktop capability of Windows. Each user accesses a unique desktop within the enterprise account. Multiple users can maintain their open applications while sharing the same computer. Access is granted to each user almost instantly, without the usual delay in logging into the network domain.

Secure even if the camera fails.

FastAccess will promptly lock the computer if the camera is broken or disabled. An alarm is sent to the FastAccess Central Management Server which can alert the appropriate staff by email. As part of FastAccess setup, the administrator can define which users can use a password or passphrase to access a computer that is no longer able to biometrically authenticate a user. When facial recognition is disabled, a programmable timer is used to secure the PC.
