Innovative Biometric Single Sign-On Automates Fast Access and Enhances Computer Security
HealthCast and Sensible Vision Solution Virtually Eliminates Passwords, Simplifies Clinical Workflow, and Continuously Protects Sensitive Information
Boise, ID and Covert, Michigan, May 30, 2006 – HealthCast® Inc., the leading provider of enterprise single sign-on solutions for hospitals, and Sensible Vision, an innovator of continuous authentication solutions, today introduced a breakthrough biometric single sign-on solution that uses facial recognition technology to automate user log-in and provide instant access to single sign-on applications. This innovative solution replaces passwords, proximity card readers, and standard biometric devices with a fast, convenient and hands-free way for healthcare professionals to quickly access applications and continuously secure patient records without requiring user action. Importantly, when the user walks away, it also instantly secures the user’s session so that private information cannot be viewed by others.
